Emily Vaughn is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in Literacy and holds a Masters in Reading from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has been trained in the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingam Multisensory Structured Language Instruction and Assessments. She is recently retired after over 30 years of teaching in both the North Little Rock and Little Rock School Districts. Although she is retiring from the classroom, she considers herself a lifelong learner and is currently working on becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist. She is excited to use this additional training, along with her years of experience, to provide reading interventions and support kids in becoming successful readers.

In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, visiting her sons in Chicago, and spending time with her dog, Annie.
